WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough will mark Arbor Day in 2023 with the dedication of an ornamental tree at Lake Chauncy.

The April 28 Arbor Day event follows a proclamation by the select board. The department of public works will dedicate the tree at 1 p.m. on Arbor Day at a new tree isle on Lake Chauncy along Dr. Solomon Carter Fuller Way (formerly Hospital Road).

Arbor Day will also be held nationwide on April 28. According to the Arbor Day Foundation, the holiday is meant as a day to plant a tree or donate to a similar effort.
