When is winter break? What other holidays do the students and teachers have? Here's a look at the winter season calendar.
WESTBOROUGH, MA—The kids and teachers are psyched. Parents, maybe not so much. But there are a number of calendar dates to note where school is out and the kids run free from classes.
Here are some notable dates on the Westborough public schools calendar this winter:
- Nov. 22 - Half day for students
- Nov. 23-24 - Thanksgiving break
- Dec. 8 - Early release for students
- Dec. 25-26 No school, Christmas Eve and Christmas Days Observed
- Dec. 27-29 - Winter break
- Jan. 1 - No school, New Year's Day (classes resume Jan. 2)
- Jan. 12 - Early release day for students K-6
- Jan. 15 - No school, Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Feb. 2 - Early release day for students
- Feb. 19 - No school, Presidents' Day
- Feb. 20-23 - Winter break
