State Police, Other Agencies Arrest 30 in Heroin Raid
Detectives from several agencies participated in the drug sweep.
Thirty people were arrested in a massive heroin raid in Lawrence, MA on Feb. 6.
According to The Eagle-Tribune, detectives from numerous Massachusetts and New Hampshire communities participated in the sweep, along with the FBI, Massachusetts State Police and the Essex County Sheriff's Department.
A series of heroin overdoses have been reported recently in Salem, NH, Portsmouth, NH, and Salisbury, MA. One of those people later died. Police have said the overdoses could be linked to a lethal batch of heroin out of Lawrence.
