Carlisle Road Company Added to S&P Small Cap 600
Cynosure, a cosmetic technology company based on Carlisle Road, was put on the S&P SmallCap 600 last week according to the Wall Street Journal.

Carlisle Road-based Cynosure has been added to the S&P SmallCap 600 according to a report by the Wall Street Journal.
Over the past few years the company has grown by purchasing competing companies and new technologies.

Already on NASDAQ (ticket symbol: CYNO), the announcement was a welcome one to Cynosure president and CEO Michael Davin.
"We are pleased to have been selected as a member of the prestigious S&P SmallCap 600 Index, an achievement that is consistent with our focus on delivering long-term value for shareholders through industry leadership and consistent, profitable growth," said Davin. "Because a number of funds track the S&P Dow Jones Indices, inclusion in the S&P SmallCap 600 creates an additional opportunity to increase our visibility and broaden our investor base."

Created in 1994, the S&P SmallCap 600 is an index of U.S. equities ranging from $300 million to $1.4 billion, a public float of at least 50 percent, financial viability, adequate liquidity and reasonable price and sector representation.
