• Friday's local roundup: Kevin Andriolo's hat trick fuels Tewksbury to romp in Maine (lowellsun.com) — Westford Academy is hosting the 48th annual Greater Lowell Holiday boys basketball tournament this weekend, with the Ghosts opening against Pelham at 7:15 p.m. Saturday. The three-day event features eight teams and a championship game Tuesday night, plus a strong showing from Westford Academy girls hockey, which edged Weymouth 1–0 at the Michael Giordano Christmas Tournament.
