Letter: Jordan Gys is the Right Choice for Republican State Committee
A resident of the First Middlesex District, of which Westford is a part, explains why.

In the March 1st Presidential Primary, those pulling a Republican ballot in the First Middlesex District will not only have the choice of who they want for president, but for Republican State Committee as well.
The Republican State Committee is the governing body of the Massachusetts Republican Party and is comprised of one man and one woman for every Senate District across the Commonwealth. It’s responsibilities include voting on the party platform, building up the party, and recruiting and supporting candidates at every level of government.
Here in the First Middlesex District ( Lowell, Groton, Westford, Pepperell, Dunstable and Tyngsboro) the choice for State Committeeman is very clear. Jordan Gys is endorsed by Governor Baker and Lt. Governor Polito, Groton State Representative Sheila Harrington, National Co-chair of the College Republican National Committee Ted Dooley as well as having the support of myself and many other active Republicans across the First Middlesex.

The reason is simple; our future. The GOP here in Massachusetts is at a crossroads, especially in the First Middlesex. Jordan Gys has proven he can grow the party and organize our grassroots through his experience as Deputy Field Director of Operations for the Merrimack Valley on the successful Baker-Polito campaign and then a member of the Governor’s Inaugural Committee. We need a young charismatic State Committeeman that has the energy and commitment to recruit amongst young voters and minorities. Jordan Gys is that person. We can not afford to lose more ground and I’m confident we won’t with Jordan leading us. I humbly ask you vote for Jordan Gys for Republican State Committeeman in the March 1st Presidential Primary for a better future for our Republican party.
