The following information was supplied by the Westford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

May 18, 4:30 p.m. - A man described as "suspicious" was reported outside the Nabnasset School.

The man was reported in his 20s and was wearing a tan winter jacket, black pants, a grey winter cap.

He had a bag that appeared to have his personal belongings and was reported to have a "scruffy" beard and long hair.

Again, the officer asked the man for identification, advising him he was not in trouble, but the man again refused, saying he is constantly asked for identification wherever he goes.

At this point, the man left the area.

According to the officer's report, the man appeared to be homeless and did not appear to be intoxicated.

No mention of students in the area were mentioned in the report.

June 5, 4:37 p.m. - Police received a call from a man who had just left the Gulf station and was upset with some solicitors in the area.

The man told police that one of the solicitors said "good afternoon" to him as he walked into the store, and he replied that he did not want to give them money.

On the way out, one of the solicitors complimented the man on his sunglasses, at which point he reiterated to the solicitor that he did not want to give any money, only this time using obscenities.

The officer talked to the solicitor, who confirmed the incident and said his group was working with Gulf to raise money for breast cancer research. Both the solicitor and the manager on duty had not received any complaints to that point.

Much to the chagrin of the man who did not want to donate money, it was determined that there were no grounds for a harrassment charge, and the officer recommended to the man that he should just ignore the solicitor.
