New Donated Funds Bring Parking Lot to O'Brien Farm
Sudbury Valley Trustees will also raise $100,000 in private funds to supplement the town's $750,000 expenditure for the conservation restriction on the O'Brien Farm.

Last fall, town meeting voters decided to acquire a conservation restriction for the O'Brien Farm, keeping it pristine for future generations. This fall, folks driving to enjoy the plants and nature trails will find it easier to park there.
Thanks to Bob Johnson of R.E. Johnson Construction in Westford, the Westford Conservation Commission and the Sudbury Valley Trustees, the O'Brien Farm now offers off street parking on Vose Road near Sassafras Road.
Johnson donated time and equipment to help reduce the cost of the project and land owner Charlie McColough contributed a sign for the lot, which can be accessed by South Chelmsford or Old Lowell roads.
