• Powerball Jackpot Hits $1.25 Billion; Big Winner Sold In Westford (patch.com) — Westford residents have a new local lottery hotspot after a Powerball ticket sold at Nab's One Stop Shop on Brookside Road hit for $50,000 in Monday’s drawing. The win comes as the Powerball jackpot climbs to $1.25 billion, giving local players another shot in Wednesday night’s drawing despite the long odds.

• After closing of medical center, Nashoba Valley towns get $5M from state (telegram.com) — Westford’s Fire Department is among 13 Nashoba Valley EMS providers sharing a new $5 million state grant to offset the loss of Nashoba Valley Medical Center. The money will reimburse EMS costs through mid-2027 and follows earlier state support for staffing and equipment as call volumes and transport times have risen across the region.
