Superintendent Pick, Nashoba Tech Board Can't Agree on Contract
The board's next steps remain unclear.

WESTFORD, MA - The school committee of the Nashoba Valley Technical High School and its pick for the next superintendent of the district have failed to agree on contract terms.
According to the Lowell Sun, superintendent pick Leo DeSimone told the board that he thought it would be “unprofessional” and “unethical” to leave his current position as the director of the Career and Technical Education Department at Somerville High School at this time. He also indicated that the search process had dragged on for too long.
DeSimone was announced last week as the board’s pick to lead the district after longtime superintendent Judith Klimkiewicz retires.
