Westford Ice Storm, Public Schools Closed, Trash Pickup Delayed

WESTFORD, MA — Westford Public Schools are closed Friday due to icy weather conditions, said Superintendent Christopher Chew.

"The forecast for Friday, February 4th, includes potentially dangerous ice and sleet,” said Chew in an announcement. "After collaborating with the Westford Department of Public Works, I have decided to cancel school in Westford for Friday. Stay safe, stay inside and enjoy the day.”

In addition, Friday trash and recycling will be delayed one day and picked up on Saturday, Feb. 5.
