Fire Destroys Vacant Weston Home
Smoke filled the air on Friday night as a fire broke out in a home on Beech Road.

WESTON, MA—A home is now uninhabitable after sustaining major damage from a fire that ripped through it on Friday night.
A call came in around 11:48 p.m. on Friday when a resident at 24 Beech Road called to report a fire across the street. Waltham firefighters joined Weston to arrive on the scene with heavy fire showing, striking a second alarm.
There were heavy fire conditions throughout the attic. Firefighters attacked it aggressively and knocked it down in about a half an hour.

There were no injuries, as the house is currently vacant and was recently sold.
