From December 8th to December 13th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free and Family Friendly - visit the beautifully decorated rooms created with the theme of the 250th anniversary of the Revolution...by a team of community partners. DON"T MISS THIS! Our museum offers visitors a different perspective on the American Revolution. Our museum, housed in a historic Pre-Revolutionary home and tavern in Weston, Massachusetts, tells the other side of the story – that of the Loyalists during the War of Independence. Notably, the Museum is among only a handful of institutions in the country dedicated to bringing to life the Loyalist experience. We also tell the story of six generations of the same family living in the same house for almost 200 years! Join us to learn more about colonial life and beyond. Our last open house history tours of the museum for 2025 will be on Thursday, December 18th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free and family friendly! WESTON, MA — A man is dead after an early morning crash on I-90 in Weston on Monday. The man was identified only as a 30-year-old from Ashland. The crash happened just before 2 a.m. at Exit 123 on the turnpike. A car crashed with a tractor-trailer on the exit, according to State Police. While on the ramp the car straddled both lanes of the ramp and a tractor-trailer was driving in the same direction in left lane of the exit, according to the preliminary investigation. According to State Police, the car hit the right rear of the trailer with its driver's side front, partially under riding the trailer. The tractor-trailer and the car kept driving a short distance together before the car broke free of the trailer, according to police. The truck stopped in the left lane and the car stopped in the right lane just beyond it. The man in the car was rushed to Newton-Wellesley Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The tractor-trailer driver was not injured. The driver of the tractor-trailer was identified as a 39-year-old man from Frankfort, N.Y. The crash is under investigation.
