The Golden Ball Tavern Museum is open for our annual Holiday Extravaganza - "Trimming the Tavern "Here's to the Red, White and Blue". From December 8th to December 13th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free and Family Friendly - visit the beautifully decorated rooms created with the theme of the 250th anniversary of the Revolution...by a team of community partners. DON"T MISS THIS! Our museum offers visitors a different perspective on the American Revolution. Our museum, housed in a historic Pre-Revolutionary home and tavern in Weston, Massachusetts, tells the other side of the story – that of the Loyalists during the War of Independence. Notably, the Museum is among only a handful of institutions in the country dedicated to bringing to life the Loyalist experience. We also tell the story of six generations of the same family living in the same house for almost 200 years! Join us to learn more about colonial life and beyond. Our last open house history tours of the museum for 2025 will be on Thursday, December 18th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free and family friendly! This tool allows us to gather any Tweets, Facebook posts, YouTube videos and Flikr photos related to our Newton Olympians and put them in one, comprehensive feed. Will Newell, of Weston, will row on the USA's lightweight four boat. The heats begin Saturday, July 28, at 5 a.m. online and will be re-shown at 2:30 p.m. on NBC. Check back for updates throughout the Olympic games and be sure to cheer on the hometown Olympians to be included in our feed!
