WESTON, MA — It's a humid Aug. 3 as the week starts off with a tropical storm warning. Tropical storm-force winds are expected in the MetroWest area as well as other parts of the state for the next day and a half.
Tropical Storm Isaias is forecast to bring mostly high winds, anywhere between 1 and 3 inches of rain and possibly a tornado, but the worst of Isaias should stay west of Worcester. A tropical storm warning is in effect for all of Massachusetts.

In Weston, the school district had to preface its discussion about bringing students back to school in the fall with news that the district superintendent tested positive for COVID-19. School Committee members said she was "experiencing symptoms" but "doing well, and coordinating her teams." School officials are recommending a hybrid model combining in-person and remote classes for the fall.
