5 Things: Connolly Campaign Kickoff; Needlepoint Workshop
On Thursday Boston City Councilor Matt O'Malley will hold his third annual Town Hall-style meeting at the West Roxbury Library.

- Boston City Councilor John Connolly kicks off his campaign for Mayor of Boston tonight at the Omni Parker House located at 60 School St. in downtown Boston. 6:30-10 p.m.
- Today at the West Roxbury Library is a Needlepoint Workshop for children 6- to 12-years-old for free from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m.
- On Thursday Boston City Councilor Matt O’Malley will hold his third annual Town Hall-style meetings in West Roxbury on the important issues facing the communities of District 6. Among the topics O’Malley plans to discuss are the upcoming city budget process, economic and business development, public safety, education, city services, and the initiatives he has been working on over the past year. The event is open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend. West Roxbury Library. 6:30 p.m.
- On Saturday is a fundraising dinner for Rosie's Place at St. George's Church hosted by Channel 5's Susan Wornick and the West Roxbury Friends of Rosie's Place. The dinner also includes raffles and entertainment. Tickets $25 per person may be purchased at the door. For questions please call, Maureen Hachey at 617-323-1397. 6-9 p.m.
- On Saturday is Parkway In Motion's West Roxbury Shootout Jr. 3-on-3 Tournament at the Roche Family Community Center. For boys and girls who 5th to 8th graders. To register, go to parkwayinmotion.org/events or email parkwayinmotion2009@gmail.com with your childs name, grade and shirt size. 9:30 a.m.
- Register now for Parkway Little League here, the season begins April 13. Players will be placed on teams based upon space availability.
