5 Things: West Roxbury Goes Solar Program Tonight
On Thursday is City Councilor O'Malley's 3rd annual Town Hall for West Roxbury at the library.
- Tonight there is a West Roxbury Goes Solar program sponsored by West Roxbury Saves Energy at the West Roxbury Library starting at 6:30 p.m. West Roxbury Saves Energy and solar partner Next Step Living are launching an effort this spring to bring solar power to every viable roof in West Roxbury. Learn if you qualify to have solar panels installed on your roof for a small investment and start saving on your electricity bills right away while you also help our environment. Anyone in West Roxbury with a viable roof who has a no-cost, no-obligation solar visit will receive a $50 gift card to Roche Bros. while this program lasts.

- On Tuesday at 11-11:45 a.m. is Winter Preschool Story Time at the West Roxbury Library. Free.
- On Thursday Boston City Councilor Matt O’Malley will hold his third annual Town Hall-style meetings in West Roxbury on the important issues facing the communities of District 6. Among the topics O’Malley plans to discuss are the upcoming city budget process, economic and business development, public safety, education, city services, and the initiatives he has been working on over the past year. The event is open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend. West Roxbury Library. 6:30 p.m.
- Register now for Parkway Little League here, the season begins April 13. Players will be placed on teams based upon space availability.
