The Boston Flower & Garden Show starts on Wednesday and ends on Sunday. Concern for the environment and enthusiasm for home veggie production have planted “Seeds of Change” in New England’s gardens. This spectacular five-day event features over 20 gardens created by professional landscape designers, nurseries and historic properties embracing innovative new plants, materials and techniques that increase the beauty, bountiful harvest and ecological friendliness of gardens and outdoor spaces. $20 or cheaper.
4. On Thursday is "The Truth Strikes Again" Celebrity Bowling Tournament with Paul Pierce and a bunch of his friends, who I imagine you'd be interested in seeing. Boston Celtics Captain Paul Pierce and New England’s all-star athletes and celebrities hit the lanes to benefit Pierce’s Truth on Health Campaign and FitClub34, a program designed to empower and inspire young people to lead healthier lifestyles. 600 Legacy Place, Dedham. 6 p.m. $75. 
5. Register now for Parkway Little League here, the season begins April 13... Also register now for the Parkway Girls Softball League. Registration deadline is March 17, same day as tryouts. .
