The units in question can overheat, smoke and catch fire, posing both fire and burn hazards to consumers.  The recall impacts 2.2 million units in the United States and 53,500 in Canada and were sold from January 2005 through August 2013.This recall involves 20, 25, 30, 40, 45, 50, 65 and 70-pint dehumidifiers with brand names Danby, De'Longhi, Fedders, Fellini, Frigidaire, Gree, Kenmore, Norpole, Premiere, Seabreeze, SoleusAir and SuperClima.Anyone owning any of these units should stop using them immediately.<a href="http://www.greedehumidifierrecall.com/ProductEntry.aspx" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Read more information on this recall and steps to take if you own any of these units.</a>
