Another Brush Fire Burns in West Roxbury

Same area as last time, according to the Boston Fire Department.

BOSTON, MA — Another brush fire burned in West Roxbury Tuesday, a little over a week after the Boston Fire Department doused a day-long burn in the same area.

Like the last brush fire, Boston Fire says Tuesday's blaze was also behind Roxbury Latin and West Roxbury Quarry. The fire department says it arrived at the scene about 2:20 p.m.

Shortly before 4 p.m., Boston Fire tweeted that command has set up at the edge of the woods on Eagle Street, and the fire chief has ordered a second alarm to get additional manpower on the scene.
