Boston Police Deliver Thanksgiving Cheer in West Roxbury

Boston police officers assigned to District E-5 in West Roxbury went door-to-door for their annual turkey dinner giveaway on Tuesday.
Officers loaded up a truck with supplies from Roche Brothers supermarket and made several stops all around West Roxbury and Roslindale.

District Captain Joseph Gillespie received a heartfelt hug from a grateful employee at the Beech Street Housing Development.
“I never tear up over anything, but I can’t help but tear up every year when this happens,” the employee said.
