The Boston Police Department is turning to the public for help with locating a male suspect wanted in connection to an alleged sexual assault that took place late Sunday evening.Officers responded to Dorchester Avenue and Harbor View Street in Dorchester around 11 p.m. after learning of a reported sexual assault. Upon arrival at the scene, the victim told police a man had robbed her at knife point before sexually assaulting her.The victim described the suspect as a black male in his 20s with a medium build, short black curly hair, and a small amount of facial hair. The suspect was wearing dark clothing and may have fled the scene on foot in the direction of Sydney Street.The Boston Police Sexual Assault Unit is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents. Anyone with any information is asked to call detectives directly at (617) 343-4400.
