Daily 5: Ally's Boot Camp Open House; Red Sox Clinic at Billings Field
Boys and girls can attend the free Red Sox baseball clinic on Wednesday at Billings Field.

- Ally's Boot Camp is having an open house on Wednesday at Millennium Park at 6:30 p.m. Click on the link to reserve your spot or know more.
- On Wednesday at Billings Field in West Roxbury, the BCYF Sox Talk Baseball Clinics baseball clinic followed by an appearance by Red Sox players and coaching staff is taking place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Young people ages 7-14 will have the chance to work on their baseball skills before the players arrive. Once players arrive, they will join the clinic and work with groups of kids on various skills, and will be able to answer a few questions. Please bring or wear sneakers or baseball plastic cleats and comfortable clothes. Bring your glove, if you have one, but bats are not needed.Youth groups and camps are welcome to participate. - Victims of Steve Palladino and Viking Financial Group's alleged Ponzi scheme are being urged to contact the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission after a Massachusetts District Court recently found the two defendants liable for violations of the securities law. Individuals who invested with Viking or Palladino since April 2011 and believe they may have been a victim of this fraudulent scheme should contact Deena Bernstein at 617-573-8813 or bernsteind@sec.gov on or before Fri., Aug. 2, 2013.
- Chessmaster Charlie moderates the Ted D'Amato Chess Club on Monday and Wednesday afternoons in the summer at the West Roxbury Library. The program runs from 2:30-5:30 p.m. for students of the game of all ages and skill levels. This program is funded by the Friends of the West Roxbury Branch Library.
- The ReadBoston Storymobile will be making multiple stops per week at four West Roxbury locations this summer to read to children, free books and more! On Wednesdays at 10 a.m. at the Roche Family Community Center, and at 11:15 a.m. at Billings Field, and 12:30 p.m. at the Ohrenberger Community Center.
