Local Kids Design & Build Lego Parks Series at West Roxbury Library

1. Today and for three days is a Local Kids Design & Build Lego Parks- an educational series planned by West Roxbury Reads for school vacation week. Local children aged 8 to 11 will design and build a  park. 1-2 p.m. West Roxbury Library. This is happening April 17-19; 1-2 p.m.
2. Today at the West Roxbury YMCA is a Wellness Warrior Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat team info session. For men and women, no experience necessary and all equipment included. 4. Buddies are wanted for the Jason Roberts Challenger League. Volunteers are needed one or two days a week, Monday through Thursday, 5:30-7:30 p.m. starting April 22 through May 31. Call Bill Hubbard at 617-364-9249.
5. On Friday, Republican US Senate candidate Gabriel Gomez will be attending a Coffee and Conversation with the Candidates at the Deutsches Altenheim German Centre at 2 p.m. Free and open to the public.
