Man Charged With Stabbing Driver In West Roxbury Road Rage Scuff

A Medford man is charged with stabbing a driver on West Roxbury's VFW Parkway during a road rage incident.

WEST ROXBURY, MA — A Medford man was arraigned in West Roxbury Municipal Court Wednesday and is charged with stabbing a driver in a road rage incident on the VFW Parkway in West Roxbury.

Massachusetts State Police arrested 27-year-old Drew D. Lamb, of Medford at a Salem residence Tuesday after they spotted his car outside.

The road rage incident happened Saturday afternoon on the VFW Parkway in West Roxbury near the intersection of Centre Street.

State Troopers say Lamb and another driver both cut each other off and began passing each other and exchanging words. Both men pulled their cars over right before the Centre Street intersection.

According to the police report, Lamb exited his car with a knife when he approached the other vehicle, a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with two people inside the car.

According to prosecutors, Lamb approached the driver's side and challenged the man to fight. Both men stepped out of their vehicles and began fighting when Lamb stabbed the man in the chest and ran back to his car.

The man was treated at a local hospital and later released.

Lamb is being held on a $15,000 bail.
