The following article is based on a Boston Police report.

A young man was jumped and had his iPhone stolen by two suspects on Clement Avenue in West Roxbury after the two suspects followed the victim from the store.

On July 30 around 10:21 p.m., Boston Police spoke with the victim who had a torn t-shirt and an abrasion on his knee, according to a Boston Police report. The student said that as he was walking home two suspects jumped him, took his phone, and then fled in a dark-colored motor vehicle towards Park Street.

The victim said he didn't call the police from his home because he was worried the suspects would learn where he lived and come back.

One of the investigating officers spoke with another officer who said while on Clement Avenue he observed a male in a black Honda, and that as the officer passed, the driver partially covered his face, according to a Boston Police officer. That vehicle was searched for but could not be found.
