Parkway Youth Hockey Midgets Support Seniors at German Centre

Donate Christmas presents for residents and rehab patients

For the second year in a row, hockey players from the Parkway Youth Hockey Midget Program bought and donated gifts (crossword and activity books, playing cards, books, scratch tickets, toiletries, socks, scarves, and candy) for German Centre residents and rehab patients. Some of the gifts will be distributed on Christmas Day by the Resident Life staff and others will be used as prizes for resident activities.

The event was organized by Kathy Gallagher and Kathy Conneely, parents of the hockey players and West Roxbury residents. Kathy Conneely is an occupational therapist who has worked at German Centre for over 13 years.
