Pipeline from Baker to Eliot Street Being Installed Starting April
A public meeting is being held on March 20 to discuss the impacts of the construction project.

NStar will be installing a steel cooling circulation pipeline from Baker Street in West Roxbury to Elliot Street in Newton starting in April, but the majority of the work will be done outside of Boston.
The Mayor's Office and NStar are hosting a public meeting on Wed., March 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Boston Lodge of Elks #10. NStar representatives will present the scope of the project to the community, take feedback and questions.

Boston Police, Public Works and Transportation Department officials will also be present, and working with NStar to minimize the affects of the project on the community.
"Although the [public meeting notice] states that the work will last from April to November, the majority of that work will take place outside of the City of Boston, therefore Baker Street will not be impacted for that entire duration," said Chris Tracy, West Roxbury Neighborhood Coordinator for the Mayor's Office.
