Results: No Winner in Tight Governor's Race Yet
With more than 95 percent of precincts reporting, some media outlets are projecting Charlie Baker the winner. But Coakley is not conceding.

With 95.5 percent of precincts reporting, the Baker/Coakley race was technically still too close to call at midnight.
Two news outlets -- ABCNews and Fox -- projected Charlie Baker to be the winner in the Massachusetts gubernatorial race, but the Coakley campaign is not ready to concede with the vote so close.

Shortly after midnight on Wednesday, Charlie Baker had 48.1 percent and Coakley had 47 percent.
ABC News projected that Baker won with the Republican with 971,909 votes to Coakley’s 947,315 and Fox News also reported that Baker “squeaked past Coakley” for the win.

However, ABC News reported that Coakley’s camp remarked, “We are done for the night” and that there would be no speeches or statements for the night.
Most polls days before the race had Baker with the lead, but a slight one.Politico’s poll had Baker with 46 percent of the vote to Coakley’s 42 percent, with 6 percent undecided.
