Three of the richest people in America are from Boston, Forbes reports.

Three of the richest people in America are from Boston, according to the recently released Forbes 400 list. The annual list ranks the 400 richest people across the country.
Edward Johnson, a money management expert, is the richest man in Boston. He checked at No.59 on the list and has a worth of $7.4 billion.
Amos Hostetter Jr., of Pilot House Associates, checked in at No. 209. He has a worth of $3.1 billion.

Herb Chambers, the owner of several area car dealerships, was ranked No. 392. He has a worth of $1.7 billion.
Abigail Johnson was ranked the richest in the state of Massachusetts, checking in at No. 31 on the list with a worth of $13.5 billion.
