West Roxbury Community Remembers Mayor Tom Menino
Local groups and businesses spoke out on Facebook in honor of Menino's legacy.

Thursday marked a day of mourning for residents across Boston, as the city’s longest-serving mayor, Thomas Menino, died at the age of 71.
Remembered as a “man of the neighborhoods,” Menino served as the city’s mayor from 1993-2013. Services will be held on Sunday and Monday, with Monday’s funeral being a private service.
