Boston Police arrested a West Roxbury man for an alleged assault and battery, and a warrant for his arrest. On Dec. 24, around 11:18 a.m., Malek Omar Salameh, of 5337 Washington St., West Roxbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery; and a warrant out of Wrenthan District Court. Police were called to a Washington Street home for a fight. The victim said the suspect attacked him while he was sleeping, and that he sustained a scratch to his left eye, according to a Boston Police report.
