A Blasting Information Session regarding <a href="https://westwood.patch.com/search?keywords=University+Station" rel="nofollow">University Station</a> will be held tonight, Aug. 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Downey Street School cafeteria. The session will be hosted by MD Drilling and Blasting, and will focus only on the blasting portion of the project. The Westwood Fire Department will also be on hand to answer questions. Director of Public Works Todd Korchin said the meeting "will allow for the contractor to educate the residents on the process, procedure, and timeline for the blasting."  The school is located at 250 Downey Street.
