Weymouth Police Looking For Car In Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash
Police are searching for the vehicle and driver involved in a hit-and-run that resulted in 61-year-old Xuan D. Vo's death over the weekend.
WEYMOUTH, MA — 61-year-old Weymouth woman Xuan D. Vo was struck by a car while walking in the area of Pleasant Street at Ralph Talbot before the driver fled the scene Saturday. Police are now asking for the public's help in trying to find the car.
Police believe the car involved was a 2011 to 2014 Volkswagen Jetta GLI that potentially has damage to the right quarter panel area and possibly windshield.
A Weymouth police officer on patrol found Vo at 2:45 a.m. struggling on the sidewalk Saturday morning and attempted to save her life, but was unsuccessful.

In a Facebook post, Police ask anyone with information to call Officer Michael Egan of the Weymouth Police Department at 781-335-1212.
The investigation is currently ongoing and detectives along with the Norfolk County District Attorney's office motor vehicle homicide unit are trying to determine the facts and circumstances surrounding the crash.
