2021 Wilmington Town Clean-Up Planned For Saturday

The Conservation Commission is targeting 12 areas of town for cleanup.

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington's Annual Town Clean-Up Day is planned for Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.

The Conservation Commission is seeking volunteers to help clear litter and debris from the town's parks and conservation lands.

"This year for Town Cleanup Day we’re targeting cleanup efforts at 12 different locations," the commission said. "Trail maps for many of the locations can be found here."

Anyone who wants to volunteer can contact the commission here or show up at a cleanup site at 10 a.m. Saturday.

"Anyone who would like to be a team leader should contact us as soon as possible for more information regarding supplies that can be be picked up prior to October 2nd in the Planning & Conservation Department (Room 6) at Town Hall," the commission said. "Please dress appropriately for woods and wetlands and remember to bring sunscreen and insect repellant. Please watch out for poison ivy and other hazards. We look forward to seeing you out there."
