  • Thursday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 81. There is a 20 percent chance of showers. Expect a south wind from 6 to 9 mph.
  • Thursday night will be cloudy, with a low around 65. There is a 70 percent chance of showers and a thunderstorm. Expect a south wind from 7 to 9 mph. 
  • Friday will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. There is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms 
  • Friday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 62.

3. It's Happening Today: Stop by the All You Can Read Buffett at the Wilmington Memorial Library at noon. Kids entering grades 3, 4 or 5 are invited to this marathon read and eat-in. Bring something comfortable to lounge upon, and read in air-conditioned comfort.
