Name of the person who nominated the hero:
Maria Gemellaro

Is the nominee considered an “essential worker”?:
Yes

What does the nominee do for work?:
Nurse Educator

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
At the start on Covid 19, she went above and beyond. She worked 10 to 12 hours per day at Beth Israel Hospital, helping in any way she could, never taking into consideration the consequences. After a grueling day, she would decontaminate herself before going home to 2 small children and her husband, always with a smile. She is a very caring and loving woman.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Erica is always ready to help and always puts herself second. A very special and caring individual.

Thank you for all you do, Erica!
