Based on surveillance videos, police believe three people were involved. The ATM was carried out to a vehicle that looked like a dark-colored Honda CRV, Pupa said.
"It's never happened before here. We've got a really good neighborhood," owner Sweetu Patel said. "I don't understand. It's pretty sad, but what can we do? I hope they catch the guys who did this."
Pupa said that anyone with information should call the police detectives at 978-658-5071.
"It's been a while since we've had a business break like this," Pupa said. "I can't remember if an ATM has been stolen, but there's been some stolen regionally, over the summer. Not sure if it's related."
"The police are really good here, so they're going to help us, we know that," Patel said.
It's not clear yet how much money was taken, Patel said.
