Buckle Up for the Worst Potholes in Wilmington

We asked Patch Readers which streets have the most bumps, divots and craters in their area.

WILMINGTON, MA - Nothing puts a dent in a morning commute like bad traffic and a street littered with potholes.

The Blizzard 2016 left monumental snowfalls up and down the east coast, and Wilmington was not immune to its wrath.

Large snowfalls compiled with El Niño induced warmer temperatures have caused more potholes and road problems than most motorists can stomach.

Patch Readers gave us a rundown of particularly pocked streets in their neighborhoods. Here are some spots that might be worth detouring:

  • “Main Street, Lake street, where Dexter and Silverhurst meet, and some of the other side roads”
  • “At the bottom of Gorham Street.”
  • “McDonald Rd.”
  • “Parker St. Adams”
  • “Mass Avenue”
  • “Mass Ave/Battle is awful to drive on.”
