Firefighters Injured In Early-Morning Crash In Wilmington
Several people, including firefighters, were injured after an early-morning crash involving a pickup truck and ambulance in Wilmington.

WILMINGTON, MA —An early-morning crash on I-93 involving a pickup truck and ambulance left several injured, including firefighters.
The ambulance, traveling with its lights on, was hit by a pickup truck outside Wilmington, MA. Several firefighters and patients received injuries in the collision that occurred before 6 a.m., according to a report from Boston 25 News. Wilmington emergency crews and firefighters were responding to a crash on I-93 south. The ambulance was struck while attempting to turn left from the high-speed lane to access the emergency turnaround.
Emergency crews transported the firefighters and patients to an area hospital. Both firefighters in the ambulance have been released from the hospital. The condition of the pickup driver is unknown at this time.
