Wilmington Snowstorm: Schools Closed, Winter Storm Warning Issued
Wilmington is projected to get 5 to 10 inches of snow beginning early Friday morning.

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Public Schools will be closed Friday in response to the predicted snowstorm.
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning that will be in effect 1 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday in Wilmington. The service forecasts 5 to 10 inches of snowfall in Wilmington from 3 a.m. to noon Friday, as part of the year's first snowstorm in the area.
Because the state is not counting any remote learning days toward the required 180-day in-person learning requirement this year, snow days will be traditional snow days, unlike the hybrid or remote days some districts had last year.
