Fitzgeralds Of Wilmington Expand Physical Therapy Business To Hometown

WILMINGTON, MA — A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held earlier this month for Fitzgerald Physical Therapy Associates, which opened up a new Wilmington clinic.

Located at 196 Ballardvale St. Suite 2, the Wilmington clinic joins other Fitzgerald locations in Woburn and Melrose.

The business is owned by Dr. Holly Fitzgerald and her husband Sean, who are Wilmington residents. Dr. Holly Fitzgerald is the president of Fitzgerald Physical Therapy Associates and a practicing physical therapist at the clinics.

"We are so excited to now have a clinic open in our hometown. It's been a long-time coming," Dr. Holly Fitzgerald said. "I'm so happy that we can now better serve the community we love so much."

At the Jan. 11 ribbon-cutting, Dr. Holly Fitzgerald and her husband Sean were joined by family, staff and local dignitaries like State Rep. David Robertson, Wilmington Town Manager Jeffrey Hull, Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce President Mark Kratman, and Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Nancy Vallee.

According to its website, Fitzgerald Physical Therapy Associates has been providing sports medicine and orthopedic physical therapy services to the Boston North area for almost 20 years.

Holly Fitzgerald said her goal for the business is to foster an environment where patients get individualized treatment, so they can get better, faster. She said all patients are treated with care, compassion and determination.

The clinic welcomes patients of all ages and takes all types of insurance.

When she is not working at the clinic, Holly Fitzgerald is an active member of the community in Wilmington, where Holly, Sean and their children have lived for almost 10 years. Holly sits on the Board of Athletics for Wilmington high soccer and lacrosse and she has served as a soccer coach.

Fitzgerald Physical Therapy Associates also has sponsored many teams and events in Wilmington throughout the years.
