Hot Summer Temperatures on Tap This Weekend

If you’ve been thinking about heading to the beach, looks like this is a great weekend to make it happen. It’s going to be a hot one with temperatures in the 90s and lots of sunshine.

Here’s a look at Wilmington’s weekend weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service:

• Friday: Cloudy skies to start the day before partial clearing with a high of 84. Clear skies Friday night with a low of 60.

• Saturday: Here comes the heat! Saturday’s going to be a sunny day with a few afternoon clouds, high of 88. Mostly clear skies Saturday night with a low of 64.

• Sunday: A sunny and warm day on tap Sunday with sunny skies and a high of 92. Sunday night, expect partly cloudy skies with a low of 66.

Next week is looking like a warm one with some potential for scattered thunderstorms Tuesday and some rain showers midweek.
