Learn To Be A Better Ally At Wilmington Library
OUT Metrowest is offering a virtual seminar for Wilmington residents to learn more about LGBTQ+ vocabulary and allyship.
WILMINGTON, MA — Want to be a better ally to queer and transgender people, but not sure where to start? Wilmington Memorial Library is hosting an hour-long virtual presentation Thursday called "LGBTQ+ Basics and Beyond" to close out Pride Month.
The presentation is being offered by OUT Metrowest, a Framingham-based organization that focuses on building communities in which LGBTQ+ youth thrive.
Wilmington Memorial Library is hosting the event, making it free for anyone to attend. Participants will leave with "up-to-date vocabulary, answers to frequently asked questions, and improved tools for allying with queer and transgender people," according to the OUT Metrowest website.
