Monday Essentials: Summer Youth Programs at WCTV and More

  • Monday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 60. Expect a southwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
  • Tuesday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Expect a west wind from 5 to 9 mph.
  • Tuesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 58. Expect a west wind from 6 mph becoming calm after midnight and patchy fog after 5 a.m.
  • Wednesday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Expect patchy fog before 7 a.m.
  • Wednesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 63. Expect patchy fog after 5 a.m.

3. This Week in Public Meetings: This week, there is only one public meeting scheduled, according to the town website. Recreation Commission will meet at 5 p.m. at Wilmington Town Hall in Meeting Room 8.

4. It's Happening This Week: Check out the summer youth programs at Wilmington Cable Television. Youth ages 12 through 14 will learn more advanced techniques through creating their own television studio productions. 5. It's Also Happening This Week: Students in grades 3 through 5 should check out the All You Can Read Buffett at the Wilmington Memorial Library on Wednesday, July 31. Bring something comfortable to lounge upon, and read in air-conditioned comfort.  Munch on sandwiches, snacks and beverages all afternoon, and finish with a pizza party.
