Tewksbury High Students Cited For Marijuana Possession

Four Tewksbury High students were hit with $100 civil citations after being found to be in possession of small amounts of marijuana.

The students' names were not released because they were not charged with a crime. According to Massachusetts law, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana is not considered a criminal offense but is subject to a civil fine.

Two children at the Goddard School in Reading were allegedly put in a closet by a teacher as punishment on two separate occasions and another teacher allegedly changed a child's diaper "roughly," according to a recently released report by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).

Andover

School Officials Investigating Student's 'Hit List' at West Middle

Andover Public Schools are in the process of looking into a student who was in possession of a "hit list" at West Middle School. The list, School Superintendent Marinel McGrath said, contained names of others students. 

McGrath said that, in situations like these, safety of the student and staff is most important. However, she said she would not provide any details on the incident.
