No School in Wilmington Again Monday

Shawsheen Tech is also closed Monday as the all day Monday into Tuesday storm cancels school again.

WILMINGTON, MA - Wilmington students are off again Monday as schools canceled classes in advance of the storm expected to be with us all day Monday until Tuesday morning.

Shawsheen Technical High School will also be closed Monday. All afternoon and evening activities are also canceled.

On Sunday, the National Weather Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow from 4 a.m. Monday morning until 7 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Wilmington is expected to get up to 10 inches of snow from this storm.

The snow will overspread the area Monday morning from 4-7 a.m., then becomes heavy at times after 8 a.m. and continues into the early afternoon. The snow intensity begins to diminish by mid afternoon. Winds will be from the north at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
