Philip C. Gray, 68, Formerly of Wilmington
Phil resided in Wilmington for many years before moving to Billerica.

WILMINGTON, MA - Philip C. Gray, age 68 of Billerica, formerly a long-time resident of Wilmington, died unexpectedly on March 7, 2016, at Lowell General Hospital at the Saints Campus.
Phil was born on June 27, 1947 in Rochester, NH; he was the son of the late Clyde and Leola Mae (Meader) Gray. Phil was raised and educated in New Hampshire. Following graduation Phil moved to Massachusetts and attended East Coast Aero Tech learning a specialty mechanical aviation repairs.
Phil was drafted into the U. S. Marines on July 31, 1967 during the Vietnam War and earned several commendations for his valiant service. Phil was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in July of 1971 and returned home to his family.

Phil resided in Wilmington for many years before moving to Billerica.
Prior to retiring, Phil was employed as a mechanical repairman for several medical and dental firms throughout the years.

Phil was the father of Lisa Roberts of North Andover and Michele Smith of Chelmsford, grandfather of Nicole, Angelina, & the late Allyson Roberts and Bryan Smith, former husband of Margaret “Peg” (Ray) Gray of Billerica, son of the late Clyde and Leola Mae (Meader) Gray, brother of Ruth Meader of Rochester, NH and Joyce Gray of Virginia.
Family and friends will gather for a Graveside Service with Military Honors on Saturday, March 12 at 11 a.m. in the Veterans section of Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers donations in Phil’s memory may be made to a Veterans Charity of Your Choice.
