PHOTOS: Ducklings Rescued from Storm Drain Over the Weekend

The ducklings fell into a storm drain on Industrial Way Saturday and were later reunited with their mother.

WILMINGTON, MA - A dozen ducklings were rescued from a storm drain over the weekend thanks to some quick work by Wilmington's New Animal Control officer Christopher Sullivan and members of the DPW.

Photos posted by Sullivan on Wilmington's Animal Control Facebook page show nearly a dozen ducklings that fell into the drain and them being reunited with their mother. Sullivan said he was able to get them out the drain with the help of the town's DPW crews.

Wilmington Apple reports the ducklings fell into a drain on Industrial Way and on Saturday afternoon drivers stopped and notified police after the duckling's mother was "going crazy" before wandering off.

Sullivan told Wilmington Apple once the ducklings were released about an hour later they were reunited with their mother.
