Reminder: Wilmington Public Schools Early Release Times For Tuesday

WILMINGTON, MA — Parents of Wilmington Public Schools students are reminded that the district is having an early release day Tuesday due to the forecast for storms and out of concern for public safety.

The district's schools will let out at the following times:

• Boutwell Early Childhood Center: 10:15 a.m.
• Wilmington Middle School: 10:40 a.m.
• Wilmington High School and Wildwood Early Childhood Center: 11:05 a.m.
• Woburn Street Elementary School and North Intermediate School: 11:25 a.m.
• Shawsheen Elementary School and West Intermediate School: noon

The National Weather Service forecast calls for rain before noon, then snow, with heavy rain at times. North wind 15 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 48 mph. The chance of precipitation is 100 percent. A total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches is possible.
